Each booking will receive an email confirming the paid participants and date/time as well as details on the meeting point for your tour. Plaza Midwood has a number of free parking areas that will be within a short walk to the starting point.
Yes! However, this is a walking tour that is approximately 1.2 miles and each participant should be able to step over curbs and walk on various surfaces. Strollers are not recommended.

Most tours end in under 90 minutes.
Yes! We actually recommend bringing bottled water or your other favorite beverage in order to stay hydrated while walking. However, we do not allow beer, wine, or alcohol based on North Carolina’s open container laws.
Our tours are designed to give you the most content in the most efficient amount of time so we have not planned breaks. We recommend bringing water or your other favorite beverage with you in order to stay hydrated and in urgent circumstances, we can direct you to businesses that have restrooms available if needed.
Tours are outside, subject to the elements, and happen rain or shine. However, tours will be cancelled in the case of severe weather. Tour Plaza Midwood reserves the right to make this determination, usually based on warnings issued by the National Weather Service. If a tour is cancelled due to weather refunds will be given.
We accept cancellations with a full refund up to 24 hours in advance of your tour. If a cancellation is needed, please notify us in writing at info@tourplazamidwood.com. Tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of the tour.
Our tours start promptly as scheduled and won’t hold up the group for late arrivals. However, you can catch up with your tour group if you are running late or know ahead of time you will be arriving late. Your confirmation email will include details about the starting point and the path that your tour group will be walking. Feel free to catch up to your group and check in with the tour guide when you locate them.
